Characteristics

Organic coconut flour is a soft, flour like product extracted from fresh coconut pulp after drying and pressing the coconut oil. Flour is not chemically modified or bleached and therefore keeps its natural creamy colour and pleasant coconut aroma. Although organic coconut flour has similar consistence as other types of common flours, it provides better satiety effect thanks to its high content of fibre. Coconut flour is gluten-free, hypoallergenic and easily digestible.

Application

    This flour can be used much like wheat flour to make a multitude of delicious breads, pies, cookies, cakes, snacks and desserts. It is a suitable variation for muesli, yoghurts, milk shakes and smoothies. Use it also for softening soups or as an excellent ingredient for home-made chocolate, puddings and sweet pastries.
